Sofia Dimaki’s lecture

We would like to thank Sophia Dimaki for her excellent lecture that she gave on the 22nd of February 2013 at the Swedish Institute at Athens on the very important unpublished Mycenaean archaeological material from the LH IIB-IIIA1 cemetery in Kalapodi in Locris (Phthiotis Prefecture). We would also like to thank all the members and friends of Aegeus for attending our first lecture. Our wholehearted best wishes to Sophia Dimaki for the continuation and completion of her study.

Aegeus and the Swedish Institute at Athens are happy to invite you to the lecture: The LH IIB – IIIA1 periods at Kalapodi (Locris) (in Greek), by Sofia Dimaki (14th Ephorate οf Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities). The lecture will take place at the Swedish Institute at Athens (Μitseon 9, Acropolis Metro station), on Friday 22 February 2013, 19:00.

Aegeus –Society for Aegean Prehistory, in collaboration with the Swedish Institute at Athens, is pleased to announce the launch of the Aegean Lectures. The Aegean Lectures are designed to present new findings, new excavations and new research studies on the prehistory of the Aegean and neighbouring regions, such as Cyprus and Asia Minor, from the Palaeolithic to the Early Iron Age (Geometric times).
