It is our great pleasure to inform you that the Archaeological Receipts Fund (TAP) donated to the library of Aegeus dozens of monographs on prehistoric archeology, as well as the journals Αρχαιολογικό Δελτίο and Αρχαιολογικά Ανάλεκτα εξ Αθηνών. Aegeus begins the new academic year with a significant donation! The Archaeological Society at Athens donated to the library of Aegeus dozens of monographs on prehistoric archeology, as well as the journals Αρχαιολογική Εφημερίς, Praktika and Ergon. We would like to express our warmest thanks to the Archaeological Society and in particular to the Secretary General Dr Vasileios Ch. Petrakos for this very generous and most valuable donation.

On April 29 Sophia Tsourinaki, professor and ancient textile specialist, led a tour at SEN Heritage Looms of the Society for the Education of Young Women (SEYW). We would like to thank her for this tour, and in particular for her introductory presentation on prehistoric weaving equipment and techniques. It is our pleasure to note that the tour was attended by a lot of people who are not prehistoric archaeologists!
On Wednesday, April 29, at 6.00 pm, Sophia Tsourinaki, professor and ancient textile specialist, will lead a tour at the Historical Weaving Mill of the Society for the Education of Young Women (SEYW).

We would like to cordially thank the curator of the National Archaeological Museum and fellow of Aegeus, Dr Costas Paschalidis for the presentation of the Unseen Museum: the “Ring of Theseus” (on Saturday, 14 March) that he kindly offer to the members and friends of Aegeus.
On Saturday, 14 March, at 12 o’clock, the curator of the National Archaeological Museum Dr Costas Paschalidis will present to the members of Aegeus the Unseen Museem. The Unseen Museum is a new project of the National Archaeological Museum, according to which antiquities selected from the unknown world of the storerooms, one after the other emerge every two months from their secure state of obscurity into the light.
We would like to thank cordially Brendan Burke & Bryan Burns for their excellent lecture on the Mycenaean occupation of ancient Eleon, in Boeotia. We would, also, like to give our sincere thanks to the numerous members and friends who attended the lecture.
