Aegeus and new start up “Achaeologist’s Home” launch a series of archaeological courses. The first course is entitled “Greeks: to where and from where? An archaeological and interdisciplinary search in space and time” and it will take place from 16 October until 18 December (every Tuesday from 6 to 8 in the even-ing). In this course of ten thematic les-sons, Dr. Theodoros G. Giannopoulos will examine the evolution of Greeks, “from where” (πόθεν) and “to where” (ποῖ δὴ), in a diachronic and interdisciplinary way.
We are pleased to inform you that the new academic year find us stronger, and with more Fellows. Maria Chountasi, Theodoros Giannopoulos, Artemis Karnava, Anastasia Papathanasiou and Vassilis Petrakis have now joined the main team of Aegeus. We thank them warmly for accepting our invitation.

As every year, we would like to inform you that in order to raise money for the aims of our Society we are organising a fundraising ruffle with tickets for 3 Euros. The results will be announced during our Annual Meeting on May 30. If you are not able to attend our Annual Meeting, you are kindly requested to buy tickets via internet. 15 prizes will be given. The first prize is 4 nights stay for 2 people at the luxury hotel VOREINA GALLERY SUITES, including breakfast and a private pool in the traditional settlement of Pyrgos in Santorini (valued at 1500 Euros, with an open invitation for one year).
