Filippo Maria Carinci Fellowship in Aegean Prehistory 2023

Τhe Department of Humanities of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in collaboration with the Centre of Archaeological Studies in Venice (CeSAV), will host one Visiting Fellow in Aegean Prehistory during the academic year 2023/2024, funded through a generous donation by the Institute for Aegean Prehistory (INSTAP) in honour of Professor Filippo Maria Carinci, for research activities focused on Aegean Prehistory at the University.

AHRC Collaborative Doctoral training grant: Creating the first Europeans. Tracing the development of Sir Arthur Evans’s vision of Minoan civilisation through documents and objects

The University of Bristol (School of Humanities, Department of Classics and Ancient History) and the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, University of Oxford (Department of Antiquities), are pleased to announce a fully-funded four-year (full-time) / up to eight years (part-time) AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Partnership grant from October 2023 (or January 2024) to conduct research on the Sir Arthur Evans Archive and related Aegean Bronze Age collections in the Ashmolean Museum.

Goneos Memorial Award for Studies on the Culture of the Cyclades, an academic fellowship which is funded by an endowment established in the memory of Petros D. Goneos (1968-2019), former active member and vice president of the Cycladic Art Foundation in New York.

Michael Ventris Memorial Fund for Mycenaean Studies

The Michael Ventris Memorial Fund was founded in 1957 in appreciation of his contribution to the fields of Mycenaean civilization and architecture. The Trustees of the Fund offer an annual award of up to £3,000 to a junior scholar for research into Mycenaean studies or kindred subjects: (1) Linear B and other Bronze Age scripts of the Aegean and Cyprus, and their historical and cultural connections and (2) all other aspects of the Bronze Age of the Aegean and Cyprus.

Harriet and Leon Pomerance Fellowship

Deadline: 1 November 2021

The purpose of the fellowship is to support an individual project of a scholarly nature, related to Aegean Bronze Age Archaeology, and to be conducted between July 1 of the award year and the following June 30.

Tytus Fellowships and Cincinnati Summer Residencies
