Knossos: from labyrinth to laboratory. A study day at the British Museum

Saturday 12 November 2011, 09.30–17.30

An international group of speakers will share their in-depth knowledge of the site of Knossos with a general audience. The site was made famous by the excavations of Sir Arthur Evans, under the auspices of the British School at Athens; his legacy has allowed research to continue there to the present day. This study day will help to celebrate the School’s 125th anniversary by presenting recent discoveries and current projects bringing the palace and its surrounding area back to life.
