«Minoan octopi» at the National Archaeological Museum – Guided tour by Dr. Kostas Paschalidis

Dr. Kostas Paschalidis will guide us through the exhibition “Minoan Octopi” at the National Archaeological Museum on December 27, Saturday, at 13:00. The tour is exclusively for members and friends of Aegeus, without financial burden. In case you do not have a free card, the entrance to the museum is 12 euros. Contact us (aegeussociety@gmail.com) to book a place. Maximum number: 40 people. We will meet outside the museum. The tour will last approximately 1.5 hours and will be in Greek. Dear members, dear friends, we would like to thank you very much for coming to the Annual Meeting of Aegeus! Once again, we had a wonderful evening! We present here the results of the fundraising raffle.

Fundraising Raffle

Dear members, dear friends, in order to raise money for the aims of our Society we are organising a fundraising raffle. One ticket costs 5 Euros, while 3 tickets 10 Euros. The results will be announced during our Annual Meeting. Our first prize will be five (5) days (4 nights stay) for 2 people at the luxury hotel VOREINA GALLERY SUITES, including breakfast and a private pool in the traditional settlement of Pyrgos in Santorini (with an open invitation for one year). The full catalogue of the prizes will be ready in the following days.

“ART IN GOLD. Jewellery in Hellenistic Times”. Private guided tour of the Benaki Museum only for the members and friends of Aegeus!

The dazzling exhibition "Art in Gold. Jewellery in Hellenistic Times" is coming to an end and the curator of the Benaki Museum Irene Papageorgiou, in collaboration with the goldsmith Akis Goumas, has offered to give a private tour to the members and friends of Aegeus (in Greek). The tour will take place this Sunday (April 6) at 1 pm. If you wish to participate, please send us an email at aegeussociety@gmail.com. A priority order will be kept.
