We would like to cordially thank the curator of the National Archaeological Museum and fellow of Aegeus, Dr Costas Paschalidis for the presentation of the Unseen Museum: the “Ring of Theseus” (on Saturday, 14 March) that he kindly offer to the members and friends of Aegeus.
On Saturday, 14 March, at 12 o’clock, the curator of the National Archaeological Museum Dr Costas Paschalidis will present to the members of Aegeus the Unseen Museem. The Unseen Museum is a new project of the National Archaeological Museum, according to which antiquities selected from the unknown world of the storerooms, one after the other emerge every two months from their secure state of obscurity into the light.
We would like to thank cordially Brendan Burke & Bryan Burns for their excellent lecture on the Mycenaean occupation of ancient Eleon, in Boeotia. We would, also, like to give our sincere thanks to the numerous members and friends who attended the lecture.
We are happy to announce a donation of 750 Euros from the Institute of Classical Studies (of London). Aegeus would like to express its sincere gratitude to the Institute not only for this important donation, but also for its ongoing support during the last years.
It is our great pleasure to present our newly revamped Aegeus website! We hope that this upgrade will make the website more user-friendly, contributing to our joint effort of enhancing and disseminating Aegean prehistoric archaeology.

We are very pleased to announce the programme of our Autumn Lectures, and we invite you to our first lecture that will take place at the Swedish Institute at Athens on September 26 (at 7 pm).
We would like to inform you that the Aegeus website is under upgrade. The upgrade will be completed by autumn 2014. As a consequence, our website will not be updated, except for the sections LECTURES and NEWS. Also, due to our heavy workload, the next full newsletter will be sent out once the upgrade of the website is completed. Brief notices, however, will continue to be sent via email.
